Tobermore Increase Annual Christmas Donation to Barnardo’s NI. 

Tobermore has made a Christmas donation of £25,000 to Barnardo’s NI. To date, Tobermore has donated an incredible £345,000 to Barnardo’s.

All donations made to Barnardo’s directly fund services to make a difference in the lives of local children, young people and families. 

David Henderson, Managing Director at Tobermore commented: “Charitable giving is a fundamental part of Tobermore’s company ethos and culture. We are delighted to be in a fortunate position to help make a difference to the lives of vulnerable children, young people and their families across Northern Ireland”.  

Barnardo’s NI carry out valuable work with thousands of less fortunate children, young people and families across the region to help build better outcomes and futures for these individuals. The Charity deliver a wide range of services from providing family support, to working directly with children and families who have experienced adversity and require support. 

Christine Doherty, Service Manager at Barnardo’s NI thanked Tobermore for its donation: “Many thanks to Tobermore for their generous donation. We are delighted to receive an increased donation this year, at a time when pressures on the Charity sector are greater than ever. Tobermore’s donation will help our services continue to reach children who are most in need”.

Tobermore’s donation will help Barnardo’s to continue to deliver their vital services such as their Child Bereavement Service, a service that specialises in supporting children, young people and their parents/carers following a death by suicide, murder-suicide (or similar tragic and traumatic circumstance). The donation will also allow Barnardo’s to continue their Young Carers Service, a service which provides practical and emotional support for young carers in the Northern and Western Health Trust areas.
