We are reporting on ESG data to gain better visibility of our performance and to benchmark ourselves to ensure we improve. We consider our ESG KPI’s just as important as Financial KPIs – we strive to be a force for good in society as our business grows.
Tobermore has beaten competition to publish Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for their entire product range.
An EPD is a document that lays out the environmental performance of a construction product over time. Following a rigorous Life Cycle Assessment, Tobermore can accurately demonstrate the environmental impact of over 400 paving, walling and kerb products.
EPDs allow construction professionals to compare the environmental impact of different products and make informed decisions about which to choose for their project.
Tobermore is a company which is steeped in family values and at the heart of our rural community. Our social responsibility is far-reaching and involves employees, charitable organisations, school children and various community groups.
Tobermore achieved the BES 6001 accreditation, this is a certification for the responsible sourcing of construction products. This BES 6001 certification gives us the ability to prove to specifiers and contractors that we have an effective system for ensuring our products are sustainable.
