Tobermore Go Purple For World Mental Health Day

Being part of Team Tobermore is much more than the fantastic family-like culture, a warm welcoming environment and supportive colleagues.  It’s being continually supported by the Company with initiatives to ensure the mental health and well-being of staff remains a top priority.

On Friday 8th October, staff embraced the Go Purple Theme steered by Action Mental Health! Colleagues came together virtually for coffee chats to discuss mental health; what it means to each of us and how we as colleagues, can help each other.

What a fantastic team effort made by Team Tobermore to show our support for World Mental Health Day 2021! A day to really embrace the importance of looking after number one, you.

However, we all know looking after our emotional and physical well-being is something we can all do better every day, not just one day of the year. To mark this special day, Tobermore gifted everyone in the company a ‘Self Care’ pack.

These packs included:

KitKat – We all need a break sometimes.
Herbal Tea – It’s time to put the kettle on.
Essential Oil – Relax and embrace the natural benefits.
Stress Less Affirmation Card – Your daily reminder that everything will be okay.
Well-being calendar – Start your daily healthy habits today.

Tobermore is committed to developing a healthy workplace culture, now more than ever. With over 450 staff employed throughout the UK and Ireland, we recognise that our employees are our greatest asset. As an employer who cares about their people, this is just another small act of kindness demonstrated by Tobermore.

It was such a great day coming together as a team while raising funds for such an invaluable cause!

We raised a grand total of £1000 and would like to thank our kind staff for their generous donations! Pictured below is Charlene and Katie from our HR team presenting Samantha from Action Mental Health with the cheque donation.
