Re-form Landscape Architecture were tasked with sourcing sustainable hard landscaping for The Sarah Swift Building, University of Lincoln.
The public realm setting of the building links Brayford Wharf through to the historic Wigford Yard. Ultimately the space extends through to Lincolns’ High Street – thus uniting the University campus with the city centre. As such, a paving solution was required that would adequately define the areas and complement the modern facade of the University building.
Tobermore’s Fusion block paving in Silver and Graphite was chosen as the hard landscaping of choice, complemented by the addition of Fusion Kerb in a striking silver finish.
High-quality, sustainable paving was required for a new University building.
The Sarah Swift Building houses the University of Lincoln’s School of Health and Social Care and School of Psychology. The academic building accommodates a diverse range of learning and research spaces, including teaching areas, offices, laboratories and nurse training facilities.

Tobermore Fusion block paving in Silver and Graphite was specified to create walkways and an attractive surround for the University building. This was complemented by the addition of Fusion Kerb.
Hannah Smith, Senior Landscape Architect at Re-form Landscape Architecture explained their choice of Fusion:
“The city centre environment demanded a product range with a high-quality finish and natural aggregate face. Tobermore’s Fusion was chosen for its diverse range of colours, textures and unit sizes.”
