UCL PEARL Building

PEARL (Person-Environment-Activity Research Laboratory) is a unique state-of-the-art facility built for research and experimental purposes, located at the University of London. The building is the UK’s first fully fitted BREEAM Outstanding building under the new guidance.  

To align with the high-end finish of the building, Tobermore’s premium block paving Braemar was chosen for the external areas. Manufactured with natural aggregates, Braemar offers a striking contemporary look. 

Sustainability was a major factor in the overall design of the PEARL development. Having been awarded ‘Best Exterior Product’ at the Architect Choice Awards due to its sustainability credentials, Braemar was the perfect choice.
