The stats are in and we are so proud to announce another month of high speed deliveries!
In the month of October 2019 99.5% of deliveries were delivered in full and on time as agreed.
Tobermore takes the honouring of delivery times very seriously and we’ve maintained this figure for over five years now. We pride ourselves in the fact that 99% of all orders are delivered in full and on time. This is in stark comparison with deliveries of timber, which can take up to two months according to research from the Federation of Master Builders and deliveries of brick which can take more than a year.
At Tobermore we have put a number of effective processes in place to ensure the reduction of long lead times.
We manufacture all products on a single site and maintain much higher levels of stock than the industry average, and so remain ready to deliver on-demand.
We manufacture our products on world class machines, using high-quality moulds that ensure tolerances are accurate and consistent thereby speeding up the availability of materials. Quality checks on the size and colour consistency are also carried out to ensure every product produced is of our world-class standard.
We offer a unique package of customer service benefits (ServiceSure) developed to ensure an efficient and consistent streamlined experience. every order placed is sense checked on receipt by a trusted advisor who ensures quantity, format and delivery details are right the first time. This unbeatable, seamless service follows a project from initial enquiry to delivery and beyond, updating customers at every stage.
Brian Smith, Regional Technical Manager at Graham Construction completed Peel Park Quarter, an £81 million new student village for the University of Salford. “The fact that the products were readily available without a long lead time was fantastic, and the prices were ideal for the cost plan we had outlined.”
Chris Morton, Senior Engineer at Solihull Borough Council required block paving that could be delivered in line with a demanding schedule. Chris noted that Tobermore’s ”minimal lead times for delivery” and ”availability of stock at all times” surpassed the council’s expectations.
Henry Price, Owner at JH Price & Sons, an award-winning Northern Ireland housebuilder, has been working with Tobermore on various housebuilding projects over the last 20 years and recently sourced Tobermore’s Lansdowne facing brick, Historic Flags, Shannon and Sienna Setts block paving for Laurel Bank, a beautiful housing development near Belfast. Henry commented on our fast, reliable delivery: “Tobermore provides an incredibly efficient service. The products are always delivered on the date agreed. Things like this mean a lot.”
