Lengthy lead times on materials, delivery at the wrong time interrupting work schedules and the double handling of materials because of faulty/poor quality materials – all common problems that are experienced on a regular basis in the UK construction industry.
At Tobermore we have put a number of effective processes in place to combat these and ensure that construction projects requiring paving and walling products can run as smoothly as possible.
We manufacture our products on world class machines using high quality moulds that ensure tolerances are accurate and consistent thereby speeding up the availability of materials. Quality checks on size and colour consistency are also carried out to ensure every product produced is of our world class standard.
Market-leading vapour curing technology is also used in the production process. This is where products are vapour cured for a minimum 12 hour period which significantly reduces the possibility of efflorescence and allows products to harden much faster than traditional drying-out methods.
We manage an effective stock efficiency system with high stock levels of our in demand products so they can be readily available at all times. For example, we manufacture 9 sq. m. of paving products every 12 seconds. This means high volume orders can be dealt with as promptly and efficiently as possible.
99.6% of Tobermore deliveries arrive on the day of request. To put this into context, 6661 of 6682 orders in 2017 were delivered on the date agreed. So you can certainly have confidence your project will not be delayed with Tobermore.
