  • What is Efflorescence?

Efflorescence occurs as cement and rain chemically react together producing calcium hydroxide. As the concrete dries, the calcium hydroxide reacts with the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere to produce calcium carbonate, which manifests as a white solid.

Tobermore have combatted instances of efflorescence for over 20 years by curing products slowly in a vapour chamber for 12 hours resulting in products that are virtually efflorescence free.
