Tobermore staff make super effort for Children’s Cancer Charity
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and in true Tobermore spirit, staff came dressed to work as superheroes for the day to raise awareness and funds for the vital charity – Cancer Fund for Children.
Tobermore staff from across GB and Ireland all donned their best superhero costumes coming to work to support the charity and the true superheroes – the children and their families.

In every office, Supermen, Batmen, and Wonder Women were spotted working hard at their day jobs while also helping to support a wonderful cause.
It was noted that Incredible Hulk was taking ‘bulk’ orders in the dispatch office, while Super Gran in HR was keeping all staff in order. Spiderman was even spied climbing a Secura Wall, all in aid of a great cause!

A complementary on-site food van went down a treat helping to refuel the hungry superheroes! This incredible team effort resulted in a staggering £2,890 being raised for this amazing charity!

Commenting about the fundraising event, Tobermore MD David Henderson said;
“As a company, we are passionate about supporting local charities. This is reflected in the massive effort of our staff. Dressed as superheroes for the day, we wanted to put the true superheroes in the spotlight and raise money for a brilliant charity. What a day it was!”
