Team Tobermore Raise £1475 for Breast Cancer Now
The team at Tobermore Head Office recently held a ‘Wear it Pink’ day in aid of raising funds for Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s largest Breast Cancer charity. We are delighted to announce that the event raised a fantastic total of £1475.05 to help support the work that the amazing charity carries out.
One in eight women in the UK will face breast cancer in their lifetime and every 45 minutes another woman dies from the devastating disease. Breast Cancer Now works tirelessly on research for causes, treatments and cures to help change this and give these women a fighting chance to beat cancer.
In the spirit of ‘Wear it Pink’ day, staff donned their finest pink garments and accessories to help raise awareness of the charity and a selection of baked goods were on sale in aid of raising funds.
Well done to our very generous staff for making the event such a success. and most importantly, helping to support such a great cause.
