David Henderson, Tobermore’s Owner/Managing Director recently sat down with The Belfast Telegraph for a short Q & A session.  Read on for Davids business advice, holiday inspiration, and reading tips!

Q: What’s the best piece of business (or life) advice you’ve ever been given?

A: The best advice I was ever given was by my dad: “Do everything in an honest and correct way.”

Q: What was your best business decision? 

A: Entering into the UK Business Excellence awards in 2007.

Q: What was your last holiday? Where are you going next? 

A: The Amalfi coast, Italy. It was beautiful and I am going again this summer.

Q: What are your hobbies/interests? 

A: Horse riding, rugby and skiing.

Q: What is your favourite sport and team? 

A: Rugby and Ulster Rugby.

Q: And have you ever played any sports? 

A: A bit of rugby in school, The Rainey in Magherafelt.

Q: If you enjoy reading, can you recommend a book? 

A: James Kerr – Legacy.

Q: How would you describe your early life? 

A: I was a bit wild.

Q: Have you any economic predictions?

A: We have to be prepared that things will not always go well.

Q: How do you sum up working in the concrete sector? 

A: It’s not glamorous, but I love it!
