Question: I\u2019m building some new homes on a small site on the English\/Welsh border and want to make the development as sustainable as possible. What kind of paving would be most suitable?<\/h4>\n

Answer: Housebuilders will be aware that the government introduced<\/a> new planning guidelines in 2015 in England for the use of SuDS on any new housing site with more than ten units. The Welsh Government have introduced new mandatory regulations for Sustainable Drainage Systems. Here, all new developments comprising more than one building or where the construction area is 100m\u00b2 or greater, will require sustainable drainage systems (SuDS).<\/p>\n
