Crimple Hall, Harrogate<\/span><\/b><\/a><\/h2>\n

Client:\u00a0 <\/span>Smeeden Foreman Partnership<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Products used: Artro Block Paving<\/a> \u2013 Carbon & Platinum, Hydropave Tegula Block Paving<\/a> \u2013 Bracken, Mayfair Paving Slabs<\/a> \u2013 Silver, Fusion Kerb<\/a> \u2013 Silver<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The vision for this project was to increase the retail offering at the development to provide an open plan artisan style farmers market and restaurant that would comfortably coexist with the current garden centre. The paving for this project needed to complement the existing buildings and the new modern building where the market and restaurant were to exist.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Crimple Hall required a unique external area to align with the quirky finish of the new artisan style farmers market and restaurant. Tobermore\u2019s Artro linear block paving was the perfect hard landscaping solution for the main entrance area. Artro block paving offered a modern, hard-wearing surface that would withstand significant footfall and vehicle trafficking, if required. The smooth surface finish boosts accessibility and helped to create a space suitable for both prams and wheelchair users, adding to the already family friendly retail development.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dobbies Garden Centre, Antrim<\/span><\/b><\/a><\/h2>\n

Client: Gray Design<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Product: Sienna Block Paving<\/a> \u2013 Silver<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Situated in The Junction Retail development in Antrim, with a massive \u00a310m invested, this 110,000ft2 store is the largest in Dobbies UK portfolio. To complement the modern aesthetics of the retail store, Dobbies sought hard landscaping to amplify the fresh contemporary feel.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sienna block paving in Silver was used for the 3960m2 area in the retail store. Both areas, interior and exterior were paved with the striking aggregate finished product. Gerard Boyle, Senior Architect at Gray Design said \u201cWe chose Tobermore Sienna block paving due to it being produced locally, thus reducing its carbon footprint. We also wanted to support the local economy and Tobermore had a great selection of colours and products to choose from.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ikea Store, Sheffield<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Products used: Fusion Block Paving<\/a>– Graphite, Mid-Grey & Silver, Tactile Paving Flags<\/a> \u2013 Buff, Granite Step Unit with Contrasting Nosing<\/a>– Silver<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Hadfield Carkwell Davidson specified Tobermore for the 376,737sq ft job at the IKEA retail store in Sheffield. A crucial part of the \u00a360M project was that the hard landscaping design would satisfy SUDs requirements while maintaining a high-end aesthetic appeal that would reflect the IKEA brand.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

An outdoor area was created that effectively promoted the IKEA brand. By utilising high-end block paving product Fusion in the cool tones of silver, mid grey, and graphite, the elevated finish was beautifully realised. Permeable paving was employed in certain areas to support drainage that would meet SuDs requirements for the site, exemplifying the project\u2019s green credentials. This in turn made it one of IKEA\u2019s most sustainable stores.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SuperValu, Dunboyne<\/span><\/b><\/a><\/h2>\n

Products: Fusion Block Paving<\/a> \u2013 Graphite, Mid-Grey & Silver, Manhattan Block Paving<\/a> \u2013 Graphite, Mid-Grey, Silver & Fusion Kerb<\/a> \u2013 Silver\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SuperValu invested \u20ac12m in a 15,200 square foot store in Dunboyne, Co Meath. The location of the retail development is of great significance to the community, having served as the local GAA grounds for many years. The scheme is designed around a central plaza, functioning as a location for public amenities and events, intending to become a community hub.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fusion and Manhattan block paving were the perfect choice to blend with the grey brick and granite cladding building. <\/span>Laid in alternating bands, the striking granite aggregate finish of the paving responds to the building’s staggered elevations.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
