What is Permeable Paving?<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Permeable paving is an essential Sustainable Drainage system (SuDS) designed to reduce flooding and remove harmful pollutants. Permeable paving blocks are manufactured with larger spacer nibs to create a gap between each block. This allows water to filter through the surface rather than running off it. The water passes through the joints and into a permeable sub base below where it is stored and slowly released into the ground.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The solution to these problems is the use of more sustainable methods of storm water drainage, now referred to as SuDS (Sustainable Drainage Systems).\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
