At Tobermore, we receive many questions asking how best to clean a patio or driveway area. With our helpful cleaning tips, you can keep your Tobermore outdoor space in top shape!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And don\u2019t worry. It\u2019s quick, easy and won\u2019t need to be done regularly! You\u2019ll know when your hard landscaping needs cleaned. The below tips are a great place to start. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How do you clean paving? Follow these simple steps!<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Time to get the weed killer out. Applying a weed killer a week before cleaning your paving will allow the weeds to die. This results in an easier cleaning process. You can tell when your moss and weeds have died as they will be brown in colour.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Next stop, sweeping! Sweep the area using a stiff brush to remove any loose stones, debris or old cement. This will stop any debris having an abrasive effect on your paving blocks. It will also enable you to inspect the area for any hard stains or cracks before washing<\/span><\/p>\n

3. You are now ready to power hose<\/span>!<\/span> A good power wash will remove <\/span>most of the<\/span> dirt and staining from your paving. Power washing gives maximum results in minimum time, a worthy investment for <\/span>those conscious<\/span> of <\/span>maintaining<\/span> their outdoor space. Make sure to angle the power hose and to keep the temperature at 30 degrees <\/span>to<\/span> prevent colour <\/span>fading and<\/span> make sure the power hose is on a light setting<\/span>. You <\/span>don\u2019t<\/span> want<\/span> to damage th<\/span>at precious<\/span> paving!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
