Job summary

The company wishes to appoint an internal sales assistant to support our experienced team in Dublin.

Key tasks & duties

  • Provide daily support to paving centre team members on all aspects of paving centre operations.
  • Interact with customers face to face and on the telephone to secure and grow sales of paving products.
  • Prepare and follow up customer quotations.
  • Provide an efficient and courteous service to all customers who call to collect product from our stock yard.
  • Carry out stock checks and replenish stock of products and samples as required.
  • Follow Company procedures including health and safety.
  • Operate a computer order entry system.
  • Calculate material required from landscape design plans.
  • Prepare visualisations for private market and house developers.
  • Cash handling.
  • Record daily activity levels.
  • General maintenance of the paving displays.

Permanent full-time.  Centre opening hours 9am to 5.30pm Monday – Saturday. Applicants must be available to work on Saturdays and Bank Holidays on a rota basis as part of a 5 day working week.


Essential criteria

  • Leaving Certificate (Grade A or B in Mathematics).
  • 6+ months of customer service experience.
  • Very well organised person.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Keen to succeed.
  • Time management.

Desirable criteria

  • Knowledge of the construction industry.
