Tobermore’s Keith run’s the line at Scottish soccer showpiece
Keith is a man who spends his weeks thinking about the bottom line and his weekends about the sideline.
By day he sells lifestyle landscaping products for leading Irish paving and walling manufacturer, Tobermore and at the weekends he unwinds as a rising assistant referee.

Tobermore's Keith was proud to play his part at the Scottish Cup final
Already having ‘run the line’ for a number of top UEFA Cup matches including Seville v Steaua Bucherest he’s strut his stuff in front of 50,000 plus soccer fans the Scottish Cup final between Celtic and Dunfermline that was held at Hampden Park, Glasgow which Celtic won 1-0.
“This was one of the highlights of my refereeing career to-date” says Keith, who has been assistant ref in a number of other high profile games including the 2004-2005 Scottish League Cup final and more recently the Finland v Armenia Euro 2008 qualifier.
“When I found out I had been selected I was delighted. It was a highly charged atmosphere with two sets of passionate fans.”
Keith, who has been a referee since 1996 loves soccer but has one big regret.
“I wish I had given up playing earlier and taken up refereeing,” says the jovial Scot.
“It’s a fabulous way of continuing to be involved in the game and I’ve been very fortunate to have been appointed to a number of top games which have involved a bit of travelling around Europe.”
Prior to joining Tobermore’s growing sales team in GB Keith spent more than 20 years in sales within the steel industry.
“When the Tobermore opportunity came up I jumped at the chance of working with such a go-ahead organisation,”he explains. “Having become market leader in Ireland Tobermore has strong ambitions to grow their market share in GB and I’m delighted to be part of that.”

Glasgow Airport is one of many prestigious projects where Tobermore’s excellent range of paving products have been used to great effect on the pedestrian walkway linking terminals one and two. Another top Scottish scheme was at the MoD Centre in Penicuck, Edinburgh.
