Ballintaggart, Dingle, Co. Kerry

Tobermore adds to the landscaping in beautiful Dingle

QUAILTY and character are the hallmarks of a stunning new development of holiday homes set in the historic grounds of Ballintaggart House and each enjoying majestic views of Dingle Bay.

Ballintaggart Holiday Homes have been built in a traditional courtyard setting and designed to blend in with the historic surroundings of the neighbouring 300 year old hunting lodge built by the Earl of Court.

Builders, Balamore Developments Limited used only the very best materials inside and out to ensure these holiday homes had an unrivalled quality finish.

The 12 houses were also tastefully designed to minimise their impact on the environment, while ensuring that all have uninterrupted views of Dingle Bay, the Sceilig Islands and the Reeks to the front, while the mountains of Corca Dhuibhne lie to the rear.

Bigger than most, the holiday homes offer accommodation of 1600 sq feet.

They have 3 large bedrooms, open plan living/dining area and all usual appliances modern conveniences expected. Broadband Internet connection is available throughout each house.

The houses are finished to an extremely high standard and have a 4* Failte Ireland rating.

The high spec of the interior was continued outside, with attractive soft and hard landscaping, natural stone and traditional lantern style street lights.

Tobermore, who have a landscaped paving and walling centre in Bandon, Cork supplied the products used to create the old style cobbled courtyard effect and blend in with the natural stone used in the construction of the houses.

Said Paddy Fenton of Balamore Developments: “We only wanted the very best for the interiors and exteriors.

“It was important to retain the traditional feel and Tobermore’s products are to us the best there is and they were perfect for achieving the natural courtyard look.”

The paths were also paved using Tobermore products.

From the extensive Tobermore range of paving and walling products, Balamore choose Cedar Tegula, Cedar Kerbstones and golden Tegula Setts to create the traditional look.
