For the past eight years, Tobermore have been donating money to a variety of charities in Lieu of gifts for customers at Christmas. This year Tobermore have decided that they will donate this year's allocation to Barnardo's. The donation of £20,000 will go directly to the Barnardo's ‘Christmas Fund' and will make a huge difference to the lives of children throughout the UK and Ireland.

Jeanie Rogers, Head of Fundraising for Barnardo's Northern Ireland, commented, ‘This is the second year in a row that Tobermore have chosen Barnardo's for their Christmas donation and we are very honoured. We will use the money as part of our ‘Christmas Fund' project. This project ensures many children throughout UK and Ireland can have a Christmas.. Without donations such as this from Tobermore these children would certainly miss out at a time of year when they should be the priority.'

Barnardo's is the UK and Ireland's biggest children's charity. They are committed to changing the lives of children who, without their help, can see no future. Barnardo's now works throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland, delivering meaningful services to approx 120,000 children and young people in over 430 local services. This allows Barnardo's to respond to the needs of children and young people at a local level.
